Rhode Island's Got Talent
7:00pm, Barrington High School, 220 Lincoln Avenue, Barrington
The East Bay Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new annual event called, "The East Bay Chamber of Commerce presents RHODE ISLAND’S GOT TALENT." The evening will showcase a variety of finalists from all over Rhode Island who will be chosen from the pool of qualified applicants. The winners will be selected at the event on August 16, 2008 by a panel of judges. A total of $1,750 in cash prizes will be awarded to the winners; First Place $1,000, Second Place $500 and Third Place $250. “We’re really excited to produce a family friendly evening of entertainment” said Betty Pleacher, President, East Bay Chamber of Commerce. RHODE ISLAND’S GOT TALENT competition is designed to bring community members together, while supporting the local economy. How to Enter The Contest: Interested parties must complete an entry form and submit an application along with a non-refundable fee of $25 and a DVD or VHS of the specific piece that the performer or group hopes to present at the finals.
