The Ambassadors serve as the East Bay Chamber's liaison between Chamber administration and the business community. The Ambassadors call on our members, distribute our Business and Community Guide, volunteer to help at all ofour functions and are responsible for the "Apple of the Eye" Award program and the G.E.M. (Going the Extra Mile) Award.

The Events Committee organizes and promotes our Business After Hurs Networking events, our Annual Awards Dinner, our Holiday Reception, our Talent Show, breakfast meetings and any other special events the Chamber organizes for our membership and/or community.

Business Education Committee's goal is to encourage support of Chamber members through programs target to Roger Williams University undergraduates, School of Law students, staff and faculty. Some of the programs we offer are; a four day bank orientation for students, Merchant Fair on the grounds of RWU that hosts approximately 50 merchants, a parent handbook, law student orientation and annual dance exhibit space. RWU also partners with the Chamber for member educational seminars and workshops.

The Government Affairs Committee will be the voice to our local, state and federal legislators. When warranted and supported by our Board of Directors, the Chamber will take an active political stand on issues that are important and that affect the majority of our businesses and our community at large. The Government Affairs Committee is a partner with the Rhode Island Chamber Coalition, a organization of seventeen Chambers of Commerce in Rhode Island who work together on state issues that affect all of our Chambers and members.
