Description: Kathryn Roth, a Rhode Island native, has been praised in the Boston Globe for "rhythmic point and subtlety" and for "lovely, graceful turns of phrase." She has performed widely throughout the Northeast and in Europe and also performs frequently with groups in Washington DC. She has recorded for Erato, Elektra Nonesuch, Northeastern and Musica Omnia. Ms. Roth is a psychotherapist as well as a musician and holds a master's degree in social work from Boston University. Catherine Gordon-Seifert is an associate professor at Providence College. She has most recently performed with the Newport Baroque Orchestra in a performance of Bach’s double harpsichord concerto in C Major and performs with small Baroque music ensembles The Elective Affinities and a.m.p. baroque ensemble. A wine reception to greet the artists will follow the performance. Admission is free for Colt Circle members, $10.00 for the general public and $7.00 for members of Linden Place and students with a valid ID.
