Annual Fourth of July Parade Picnic
500 Hope Street, Bristol
Linden Place is the ideal place to enjoy the hometown flavor of the oldest Independence Day Parade in the U.S.A.! Linden Place will be hosting its Annual Fourth of July Parade Picnic on Friday, July 4, 2008. Located directly on the historic Bristol Fourth of July Parade route, Linden Place will be offering bleacher-style seating, tables and chairs under the shade of the Linden trees, a continental breakfast and picnic lunch, restroom facilities and elbow room! Watch the 223rd annual parade in patriotic style and support the restoration of this Bristol landmark! Tickets are $50 for adults, $35 for children and include both breakfast and lunch. Summer Arts Camp at Linden Place - Week One
500 Hope Street, Bristol
Registration is now beginning for Linden Place's annual Summer Arts Camp for Kids, a weekday summer camp focused on the arts, for children ages 6-14 with daily workshops in drama, music, art, and creative movement. Week One - July 14th - July 18th, 2008 Week Two - July 28th - August 1st, 2008 Each week of camp is centered around a different cultural "theme". Camp workshops collaborate for presentations to parents and friends on Friday at 1:30 PM. Space is limited and camp fills up quickly, so secure your child’s space today! To be eligible, all children must be entering at least Grade One or higher. Camp day begins at 9:00am and check-out begins at 2:45pm. Cost is $150 per week, $125 for each additional student from the same family. Linden Place Members receive a $35 discount.
